Chemicals

We have a wide range of chemicals used in an offset printing press to prepare and maintain the press, as well as to clean and finish the printed materials like:

Fountain solution: used to moisten the plate and help the ink transfer to the paper.
Ink additives: Used to adjust the ink viscosity, pH, and other properties.
Plate developer: used to develop the image on the printing plate.
Plate cleaner: used to remove ink and debris from the printing plates.
Degreaser: used to clean and remove grease from the press parts.
Solvents: used to clean up ink and debris from the press.
Antistatic agents: used to reduce static electricity on press and printed materials.
Detergents: used to clean press parts such as rollers and blankets.
Rust inhibitors: used to protect press parts from rusting.
Preservatives: used to extend the shelf life of the ink.

It is important to note that different printers and printing processes may use different chemicals and formulations, so it’s best to consult the press’s manual or a professional for the proper chemicals to use with your specific press. Additionally, it is also important to be aware of the safety precautions, disposal methods and regulations for each of these chemicals as some of them can be dangerous and harmful to humans and the environment.
